Project Operations Manager

Role Description:

We are seeking a results-driven professional experienced in operations and quality assurance across multiple products or projects. The ideal candidate will ensure quality compliance before production releases, manage ongoing production operations, oversee support delivery, and lead cross-functional coordination between design, development, and infrastructure teams. This role requires a mix of strategic oversight and hands-on problem-solving to ensure stable, high-availability product operations across our portfolio.

Roles And Responsibility:

Quality Assurance Oversight: Oversee QA processes and ensure all projects adhere

to defined quality gates before production release.

Production Operations: Manage production operations for multiple platforms,

ensuring uptime, performance, and issue resolution.

Resource Management: Review and monitor support schedules across

products/projects to ensure optimal resource utilization.

Incident Management: Classify, prioritize, and route change requests, incidents, and

issues to relevant teams for resolution.

Escalation Management: Lead and participate in escalation calls, drive root cause

analysis, and verify timely closure of issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with infrastructure, design, and

development teams to maintain operational excellence.

Metrics & KPIs: Define and track operational KPIs—including release defects, SLA

adherence, and incident recovery metrics.

Continuous Improvement: Ensure post-deployment validation and drive process

improvement initiatives to enhance deployment quality and reduce incident

recurrence.

Documentation: Maintain release documentation, change logs, and ensure

compliance with operational policies.

Qualification:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

(Master’s preferred).

Experience: 5+ years of experience in QA, production operations, or release

management for enterprise or SaaS products.

Management: Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple

concurrent projects.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of change management, incident

management, and quality assurance frameworks.

Tools: Familiarity with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, Jenkins, or similar.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Soft Skill Required:
